One teaching of the book involves fasting. It states that “fasting can cure 90% of the ailments”, including common issues that have plagued afroasiatic people for decades. He also talks about eating one meal a day or every other day with nothing in between meals as the key to longer lifespan. A strategy that many modern researchers believe rivals the commonly recommended practice of three meals a day.

He has been featured on many podcasts and radio shows, including his recent appearance on Nothin’ But The Truth, hosted by Jamil & Teasha Muhammad. In his recent appearance they discussed many solutions to common health problems including, diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, loss of hair and more.
