Endocrinology: How to produce an invincible, self-healing body

Share post:

Did you know that the Endocrine system plays a vital role in maintaining hormonal balance in our bodies? That it also plays an important role in regulating many physiological processes? Our bodies consist of various glands that produce hormones which act as chemical messengers and can influence growth, development, metabolism and even mood. Endocrinology is the study of hormones. The endocrine system not only ensures equilibrium within the body but also responds to external stimuli, adapting to changing environments and maintaining optimal functionality.

We often don’t pay much attention to this as an important factor in our wellness. Poor diet, lack of exercise and rest are a few of the most common culprits that disrupt our natural ability to remain healthy. In addition, cultivating positive thinking is a highly important factor in maintaining hormonal balance. Many people may even believe that their irritable mood swings, troubled skin or inability to get a good nights rest is no big deal. However, these seemingly small things can become serious problems if left unchecked.

When there’s dysfunction in our endocrine system, we experience what is known as hormonal imbalance or endocrine disruption. A few common systems of this includes but is not limited to:

  • Mood Swings: Hormonal imbalances can influence mood and lead to mood swings, irritability, anxiety, or depression.
  • Insomnia or Sleep Disturbances: Hormones play a role in regulating sleep, so imbalances can contribute to difficulties falling asleep or staying asleep.
  • Changes in Libido: Hormonal imbalances can affect sexual desire and function.
  • Weight Changes: Fluctuations in weight, more specifically unexplained weight gain or difficulty losing weight, may be associated with hormonal disruptions.
  • Irregular Menstrual Cycles: For women, changes in the menstrual cycle, such as irregular periods or heavy bleeding, can be indicative of hormonal imbalance.
  • Digestive Issues: Hormones influence the digestive system, and imbalances may lead to symptoms like bloating, indigestion, or changes in appetite.
  • Skin Issues: Changes in hormone levels might manifest in skin problems, such as acne or excessive oiliness.
  • Fatigue: Persistent fatigue or low energy levels may be a symptom of disrupted hormonal patterns.
  • Changes in Hair Growth: Changes in hair texture, hair loss, or abnormal hair growth in certain areas may be observed.
  • Temperature Sensitivity: Fluctuations in hormone levels can contribute to feelings of heat or cold intolerance.

In addition, hormonal imbalances as a result of endocrine disruption could lead to other complications.

Why do we become sick, diseased and eventually die?

When we interfere with our bodies natural ability to heal itself, the result is that we become sick, dis-eased and eventually die. Our bodies are designed to move according to and under our command. Your Endocrine system is the system that takes the energy of your ‘un-seen’ thought and transforms it into the corresponding chemical hormone that is then dispersed throughout your body to shape you into that thought and move your body in that direction.

Understanding our endocrine system allows us to know how to produce those thoughts or emotions needed to cause the production of Hormones we need to move our body where it needs to go.
